GRANITE FALLS -- Pearl Aileen LaBatte, 90, of Granite Falls died Sunday at her home.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Upper Sioux Multi Purpose Building in Granite Falls. Burial will be at the Doncaster Cemetery in Granite Falls.
Visitation will be all day today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and for one hour prior to service Wednesday at the building. Arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls.
She was born May 13, 1917, in Big Coulee, S.D., to Lucas Hart and Josephine (Courdier) Cook. She grew up with her family in South Dakota and later moved to Pipestone where she attended school.

She married Archie LaBatte in 1973, in Sisseton, S.D. They moved to Granite Falls. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters: Glorene Renville of Sisseton, S.D., Roberta Flute, Rainelle LaBatte, and Anita Uribe, all of Granite Falls; a sister: Cheryl (and Stan) Crooks of Prior Lake; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and her adopted family: Debbie Robertson, Greg, Denny, Micky, Don, Les, and Jerome Prescott, all of Morton.
She was preceded in death by her sons: Archie Jr., Stephen, and Leanard LaBatte, daughters: LaVonne Brown, and Angelic LaCroix; and three brothers.
