MONTEVIDEO -- Pearl Christine Lyngen, 97, of Montevideo, formerly of Milan, died Nov. 10 at Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Luther Haven Nursing Home Chapel in Montevideo. Burial will be at the Kviteseid Lutheran-Milan Methodist Cemetery.
Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

She was born Feb. 5, 1909, in Tennessee Ridge, Tenn., to William and Eliza (Nash) Muller. The family moved to rural Dawson when she was young.
She married Sibert Lyngen on March 5, 1929, in Moose Lake. They moved to Milan in 1949. They ran a restaurant named Si's Place for several years and later operated a furniture upholstery and refinishing business in Milan. She moved to Montevideo in 1997.
She is survived by her husband; daughters: Betty Lou Johnson of Milan, Wanda (and Kermit) Hermanson of Maple Plain, Gloria Jean (and Ken) Cokely of Rock, Kan.; a sister: Doris Haugen of Little Canada; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: Larry Johnson; three grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters.
