WILLMAR -- Willmar smacked four extra-base hits and Hanna Pederson threw a three-hit shutout to beat Little Falls 4-0 in Central Lakes Conference softball action Monday.
The Cardinals (5-7, 8-8) had six hits overall.
Chelsey Wierschem had the only multi-hit game for Willmar. She hit an RBI double in the first inning, then tripled and scored a run in the third.
Allie Sweep doubled in a run in the fifth for the final score. Alicia Alvarado had the last extra-base hit with a triple.
Pederson struck out eight and walked one in her seven innings of work.

Despite the windy conditions, neither team committed an error.
"All the girls judged the ball well despite this wind," Willmar coach Brent Pederson said.
Willmar beat Little Falls 4-1 last Thursday in Little Falls.
The Cardinals play at Brainerd today in another Central Lakes Conference game.
