MORGAN – A pedestrian who was injured Aug. 31 when struck by a vehicle in Redwood County is expected to undergo weeks of rehabilitation while recovering from injuries.
According to the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Evelyn Urban, 59, of Morgan was walking in the northbound lane of Country Road 2 at around 9 p.m. on Aug. 31 when she was struck by a 2002 Subaru Outback, driven by Cory Faulds, 32, of Morgan, that was also traveling north.
Urban was flown from the scene by North Air Care.
In a news release Friday, Sept. 11, from the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, it was reported that family members informed the sheriff’s office that Urban will be spending several weeks in rehabilitation for her injuries.
There are currently no charges pending in the incident, according to the news release.
