Eric Perkins, the KARE 11 sportscaster who is known for his "Perk at Play" around the state, will participate in the fifth annual Willmar/Spicer Polar Plunge for Special Olympics on Saturday at Melvin's on the Lake in Spicer.
Pre-registration is Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Melvin's and from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday. The event begins at 2 p.m.
