Jerry is a 4-year-old Rottweiler who came to the shelter from a rescue group. He loves to go for walks, play with toys and fetch when the mood comes to him. He is good with submissive dogs and loves food.

Jerry is generous with kisses and likes older kids. He will be affectionate once he has calmed down after a run with his Gentle Leader on. Jerry will pretend to chase his non-existent tail when he's excited.

Stop in and meet Jerry and the many other adoptable pets at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter, 250 28th St. S.W., Willmar. Shelter hours are noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
