Jenna Peterson and Luke Kavanagh, both of Battle Lake, are engaged to be married Sept. 19 at First Lutheran Church in Battle Lake.
Peterson is the daughter of Gary and Kim Peterson of Battle Lake.
She is a 2003 graduate of West Fargo, N.D., High School and a 2008 graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She is employed as a direct support professional by Lakes Homes and Program Development in Fergus Falls.
Kavanagh is the son of Charles and Colette Kavanagh of Willmar.
He is a 1999 graduate of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School in Kerkhoven and a 2002 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar with an electrician associate degree. He is employed by Emil's Electric in Battle Lake.
