Grete Peterson, a junior center fielder from Granite Falls, led North Dakota State University with a .444 batting average as the Bison won three of four games at the Hawkeye Classic in Iowa City, Iowa, last weekend.
Peterson, hitting .186, leads the Division I-AA team with nine stolen bases in 10 attempts this season and is second in runs scored with 10. NDSU is 11-21 so far this season.
