GRANITE FALLS -- Philip Edward Wright, 77, of Granite Falls died Friday at his stepson's home in Granite Falls.
The service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Multipurpose Building. Burial will be in Doncaster Cemetery.
Visitation began Saturday at the Upper Sioux Community Multipurpose Building and continues until the service. Arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls.

He was born Dec. 4, 1928, on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota to Luther and Lizzy Eunice (Roubideaux) Wright. He served in the United States Army. He was a bronco rider and calf roper and also played baseball for the New York Yankees in the 1940s.
In 1980 he married Rainelle LaBatte in Flandreau, S.D. He was a musician and sang with the group Porcupine.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters: Monique Wright of Granite Falls, Eunice Wright of Granite Falls, Shirley (and Dean) Harrison of Pendleton, Ore., and Ellen Wright of Lower Brule, S.D.; three stepchildren: Leo Baker, Vanessa Baker and Rainelle "Pumpkin" Grinnell, all of Granite Falls; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infant sons and several brothers and sisters.
