WILLMAR -- A conditional use permit for a new business in Burbank Township was approved Monday by the Kandiyohi County Planning Commission.
Grant Peterson and Roger Imdieke are proposing to operate a retail furniture business in a commercial/industrial district in northern Kandiyohi County, according to Assistant Zoning Administrator Eric VanDyken, who also provided a copy of draft findings for the proposals prepared by the zoning staff.
Four cabins that will be built on the site will also be displayed as sale models.
The business will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Conditions placed on the permit will require on-site parking, that no outside storage of parts, salvage material or unlicensed equipment be allowed and that there be a maximum of six employees.

The Kandiyohi County Commissioners will take final action on Tuesday.
