MORRIS -- ACGC put up three runs in the second on four hits, including an RBI double by Jeff Peterson, and the Falcons went on to defeat Morris 8-2 in West Central South baseball on Friday.
Jordan Tanner pitched a complete game, a six-hitter with two walks. Joey Slinden's two hits for ACGC (7-2, 7-3) included a double.
Losing pitcher Matt Wohlers singled twice for Morris (3-6, 3-8).

Minnewaska (8-2, 8-3) inched closer to securing at least a share of the conference title despite collecting only four hits. The Lakers scored twice in the second on three BOLD errors and on a wild pitch.
Alex Gay and Brad Gass drew walks to open the BOLD (2-7, 4-8) fifth and Jon Caspers singled to drive in Gay. Gass then scored on a groundout.
Brad Dunn singled to lead off the bottom half of the frame for Minnewaska and Mike Whittemore followed with a triple to drive in Dunn with the winning run.
Whittemore shook off six walks in five innings to pick up the win. Nick Sutton fanned three in two scoreless innings of relief.

NLS got all three runs in the first on a two-run double by Luke Reiter and a single by Jack Hartley, which scored Reiter.
