HOWARD LAKE -- Jordan Lecher threw a two-hitter on the hill and knocked in half his team's runs as Litchfield ousted its Highway 12 rival Dassel-Cokato 6-0 on Tuesday in the Section 5AA baseball quarterfinals.
The win puts the Dragons into the double-elimination final four against Annandale at 7 p.m. today in Delano.
Lecher threw on two days rest. He five-hit Rockford on Saturday, a 2-1 win.
Charger pitchers Jordan Flick and Tyler Zweibohmer combined for 13 strikeouts, but Martin Mendoza singled in Lecher with the game's first run in the fourth. Lecher had a two-run double in the fifth and a bases-loaded walk in the sixth. Lucas Johnson had an RBI single the same inning.
