RAYMOND -- MACCRAY dampened Renville County West's title hopes while sustaining its with a 9-3 win in Camden North Conference baseball on Thursday.
The Wolverines went to 7-2 in league (9-3 overall), only a game behind KMS. The Jaguars dropped to 4-3 and 5-4 overall.
MACCRAY led 3-0 after one inning and 8-1 after three.
Tyler Wrede, Ben Ruter and Caleb Hanson delivered two hits apiece for MACCRAY.
Jordan Smith worked the last four innings, fanning eight, for the win.

RCW starter Adam Loe was hit hard before leaving in the third. Paul Peterson went 3-for-3 while Brian Harper and Loe each added a pair of singles.
