BENSON -- Taylor Semler spun a three-hitter backed by 10 hits from the offense as Benson/Hancock shaded Lac qui Parle Valley 4-1 on Monday in West Central South softball.
Nicole Streich was tough in the circle for the Eagles. She escaped numerous jams, stranding 10 Brave/Owls.
B/H needed four hits to produce a 2-1 lead in the third. Mallory Jensen had the RBI poke.
Jenny Noordmans hit a two-run double in the sixth.
The win maintains B/H's tie with Minnewaska for the loop lead.
