MURDOCK -- Samantha Dunn, a seventh grader, pitched a perfect game and KMS backed her with 16 hits en route to a 21-0 drubbing of Dawson-Boyd in the second game of a Camden Conference doubleheader Monday.
KMS also won the opener, 12-4.

The Fighting Saints (9-1, 10-3) had one stellar defensive play to preserve the perfect game for Dunn. Right fielder Bailey Carlson sprinted after a ball hit to right-center field and threw her out at first base for the first out in the fifth inning.
KMS scored 12 runs in the third inning.
Jasmine Bredeson went 5-for-5 and drove in three runs for KMS. Sarah Carlson and Steph Stassen had two hits apiece. Stassen drove in three runs and Carlson two.
