BENSON -- Jenny Noordmans slugged a pair of two-run home runs and Courtney Frank added a solo shot Thursday to help Benson/Hancock upend Morris 6-3 in a West Central South Conference game.
Morris had an eight-game winning streak halted.
Noordmans belted her first homer in the first inning and Frank followed up with her blast. Noordmans then went deep in the fifth to cap the scoring for Benson/Hancock (6-2, 8-3), which also got an RBI triple in the fourth from Mallory Jensen.
Taylor Semler benefited from the support to pick up the win, spinning all seven innings while striking out eight.
Sara Beyer had two hits and drove in a run for Morris (5-6, 8-6).

YME (6-4, 7-4) had four players with multi-hit games and pounded out four doubles. Lauren Trudel led the way with two runs scored and two RBI.

Laura Schaefer clubbed a three-run home run in the second inning and Whitney Woehler threw a five-hit shutout to highlight the Bulldogs' victory.
Schaefer, who also doubled, now has six home runs this season. Keely Meagher went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, a triple and two RBI. Jessica Klein also went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI for Paynesville (8-3, 9-3).
