ALBANY -- Whitney Woehler spun a three-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and Keely Meagher knocked in two runs as Paynesville blanked Minnewaska 3-0 in the Section 6AA-South semifinals Tuesday.
Paynesville (14-3) will now play Rocori, which beat St. Cloud Cathedral, at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Albany. The Bulldogs also won 3-0 with Woehler in the pitcher's circle in their first-round game with Long Prairie-Grey Eagle.
Meagher drove in Laura Schaefer with singles in the fourth and sixth innings. Meagher then capped the scoring when she scored on Jessica Klein's single in the sixth.
Minnewaska (16-5) got a triple from Kali Cordes and singles from Alicia Pfeninger and Shannon Bosek.

The Jaguars moved into the sub-section final on Thursday where they will meet Maple Lake at Glenwood at 5 p.m.
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa erupted for six runs in the top of the third. Emily Roelike, Sarah Gruber and Miranda Bast each had an RBI single in the inning.
Roelike added an RBI double in the fifth.
Michelle Sanders pitched a five-hitter with one walk and six strikeouts for the win.
