MELROSE -- Sophomore Whitney Woehler tossed a six-inning, no-hitter as Paynesville topped Melrose 11-0 in West Central North Conference softball on Tuesday.
Woehler walked two and one other runner reached on an error.
With Woehler pitching all but one inning, the Bulldogs have posted five shutouts this month.
Jasmine Kalkbrenner, Jenn Paul and Laura Schaefer each had two hits, one by Schaefer a solo homer.
