Cordes pitched the first six innings for the win. She allowed one hit. Pfeninger earned the save, giving up one hit.
Emily Toop scored the game's first run on a wild pitch in the third inning for the Lakers (6-0, 10-1), and Shannon Bosek drove home the second run in the fifth.
