WILLMAR -- In eight innings of action Friday, Willmar lost two games to Sauk Rapids.
The two Central Lakes Conference rivals first had to resume a suspended game that was halted after nine innings as part of a twinbill on Tuesday Sauk won the first game, 6-3.
Sauk Rapids, playing as the home team in the continued game, scored with no outs in the 10th inning to win the game, 7-6.
Allie Sweep's two-run double and run-scoring singles from Sarah Hulscher and Amanda Croonquist in the first helped Willmar take a 5-0 lead Tuesday before darkness postponed the second game of a doubleheader.
The Cardinals then outhit Sauk Rapids 14-11 in the second game Friday, but four errors plagued Willmar as the Storm collected a 10-6 non-conference win.

Willmar drops to 4-8 in the CLC and 7-8 overall this season.
Sweep and Chelsey Wierschem had three hits apiece and Hulscher and Croonquist added two more each. Sweep and Hulscher both drove in two runs.
Willmar hosts Little Falls on Monday at 4 p.m., Brainerd on Tuesday and St. Cloud Tech on Thursday in Central Lakes Conference games to wrap up the regular season.
