Litchfield in Section 5A and New London-Spicer in 6A each had a doubles team advance to the semifinals on Thursday.
Section 5A
The Litchfield doubles team of Andy Steckler and Dominic Devine advanced to the Section 5A semifinals with two wins at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center on Thursday.
The duo won their first match 6-0, 6-0, then lost the first set against a Fridley team before taking the last two sets.
Action continues today at 1 p.m. at the same site.

The New London-Spicer doubles team of Jackson Wright and Alex Wiegmann won twice on the first day of the Section 6A individual tennis tournament Thursday at New London.
The semifinals and final will be played Tuesday at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
