NEW LONDON -- By winning three singles and two doubles matches in straight sets, New London-Spicer upended Litchfield 5-2 in a non-conference boys tennis match Tuesday.
In singles, NLS got wins from Alex Wiegmann at No. 2, Elijah Wilson at No. 3 and Loren Johnson at No. 4. Ryan Woodhall-Rob Pieh at No. 1 and Zach Treptau-Logan Bengtson at No. 2 won in doubles for the Wildcats.
Andy Stoekler at 1-singles and the duo of Nik Hendrickson and Dan Felt at 3-doubles won for Litchfield.
