UNDERWOOD -- Behind 37 kills and 38 digs from Kelsey Jeseritz and 13 ace blocks from Stephanie Stassen, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg placed third at the Underwood Invitational Thursday.
KMS (18-7) went 2-1 in pool play before upending Underwood 25-20, 22-25, 15-12 in the third-place match.
Stassen also had 21 kills while Amy Neal served a team-high eight aces and Sarah Carlson (44 assists) and Amber Johnson (34 assists) directed the offense.
