Prep Volleyball: Willmar, BL-Hector each go 1-3 in Moorhead Invite

MOORHEAD -- Willmar and Buffalo Lake-Hector each won one of four matches in a strong 12-team Moorhead Invitational this past weekend.

Buffalo Lake-Hector finished in eighth place and Willmar 11th.

Greta King had 26 kills for Willmar (10-16). Megan Junkermeier added 17 kills. Megan Brown had five ace serves and 28 digs and Laurie Buer led with 36 set assists.

For Buffalo Lake-Hector (11-15), Kasey Peterson led with 21 kills and Tiffany Larson finished with 20. Sam Broderius had 61 set assists.
