Rains delay Highway 67 project

WILLMAR - A bituminous mill and overlay project on state Highway 67 and U.S. Highway 212 in Granite Falls has been delayed one week due to recent rain storms.
The delay in the start date - from July 20 to July 27 - will not impact the project completion date. The project is now scheduled to begin July 27 and scheduled to be completed by Oct. 15. Mark Sand and Gravel Co. of Fergus Falls is the prime contractor for this project.
Motorists traveling on Highway 67 from U.S. Highway 75 to Highway 212 near Granite Falls and on Highway 212 from Highway 67 to Highway 23 in Granite Falls may encounter minor delays as crews will be resurfacing the road.
