LITCHFIELD -- Ralph Jerome Polivka, 76, of Litchfield died Sunday while traveling in Honduras.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Litchfield. Military honors will be provided by Nelsan-Horton American Legion Post 2818. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemtery in Sheldon, Wis.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
He was born Nov. 11, 1930, in Eau Claire, Wis., to Bert and Pauline (Alberts) Polivka. He attended Tony High School in Tony, Wis.

He married Lorna Nelson on May 19, 1956, in Ladysmith, Wis. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama for two years during the Korean War. They moved to Litchfield in 1970.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the American Legion.
He is survived by his children: Jeff (and Julie) Polivka of Black River Falls, Wis., Roxanne (and Dave) Gangl of Elk River, Lori Billiet (and Dan Smith) of Zimmerman; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister: Carlene (and Charles) Schnack of Stevens Point, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
