MONTEVIDEO -- Ralph Oliver Moe, 93, of Montevideo died Friday at the Clara City Care Center.
The service is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be in Black Oak Lake Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
He was born Nov. 21, 1914, in Sparta Township, Chippewa County, to T.R. and Olea (Lanes) Moe. He grew up in Sparta Township and attended rural school.

On June 5, 1939, he married Harriet Jerve at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. They farmed in Sparta Township for many years, where he made his home until entering the Clara City Care Center two years ago.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo and a past member of Black Oak Lake Lutheran Church. He had served on the Black Oak Lutheran Church Board, Sparta Town Board, credit union board and Wegdahl Elevator Board.
He is survived by three children: Rodney (and Bonnie) of Brooklyn Park, Rebecca (and Dennis) Lewison of Granite Falls and David (and Mary) of Montevideo; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and two sisters: Ruby Olson of Montevideo and Idella Gulden of Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1982, a grandson and two brothers.
