BUFFALO LAKE -- Ramona Frieda Hillmann, 78, of Buffalo Lake, died Saturday in rural Gibbon.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the church. Hughes Funeral Home in Hector is in charge of arrangements.

She was born March 7, 1929, on a farm north of Gibbon to Henry and Hilda (Gruenhagen) Bruns. She attended parochial school in Gibbon, New Ulm High School and Dr. Martin Luther College. She married Ardine Hillmann on June 19, 1949, in Gibbon. They lived on a farm south of Buffalo Lake. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was active with WELCA. She traveled extensively.
She is survived by her children: Beverly (and Douglas) Elias of Hayfield, Barbara (and Casey) Rouse of Bird Island, Bonnie (and Otto Jr.) Hartmann of Gibbon, Becky (and Dale) Stromley of Buffalo Lake and Brent (and Vicki) Hillmann of Buffalo Lake; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother: Vernes Bruns of Gibbon; and a sister: Marlene (and John) Weller of Gibbon.
She was preceded in death by husband, a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.
