WILLMAR -- Raymond H. Chapman, 93, of Willmar died Wednesday at Bethesda Pleasantview Nursing Home in Willmar.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Reformed Church in Willmar. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.

He was born Jan. 5, 1912, in Donnelly to William and Lilly (Paine) Chapman. The family moved to Eagle Bend and he attended WCSA High School in Morris.

He married Anna Douma on Nov. 2, 1933, in Roseland. They lived and farmed in the Roseland, Lake Lillian, Svea and Renville areas. They moved to the family farm in Donnelly and later returned to the Willmar area. He worked as a technician at Willmar State Hospital and continued farming in Donnelly. He retired in 1974. They wintered in Arizona. Anna died in 1993.

He was a member of First Reformed Church in Willmar.

He is survived by his children: Lorna (and Gene) Hahn of Big Lake, Mavis (and Ted) Muller of Little Falls, Sharilyn Schmidt of Niceville, Fla., Sheldon (and Carol) Chapman of Sunburg, LeEtta (and Dave) Van Ort of Willmar; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, three sisters and one brother.
