GLENWOOD -- Rebecca Kay "Becky" Peterson, 27, of Glenwood died Monday, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Glenwood.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Glenwood and for one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Memorials are preferred to the Rebecca Peterson Memorial Fund at Eagle Bank in Glenwood.
She was born June 12, 1980, in Alexandria to Larry and Linda (Johnson) Slack. She was raised in Brandon, where she attended school and graduated in 1998 from Brandon High School.

She married Jason Peterson on Aug. 28, 1999, in Brandon. They lived in Evansville and Alexandria. In 2004, they moved to Glenwood. She was a home-based licensed daycare provider in Glenwood.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Glenwood, where she was an Awana Cubby Leader. She also was a member of the Pope County Board for Daycare Providers.
She is survived by her husband; daughter: Bailley; son: Preston; parents; and siblings: Rachele (and Bill) Spomer of Mayer, Renae (and Darrin) Quinn of Evansville, Michael (and Laura) Slack of Big Lake; grandparents: Marion Slack (special-friend Nancy Klipstein) of Crystal, and Adrian Ellingson of Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Georgia Ellingson, and grandparents, E.J. and Martha Johnson.
