Record numbers at Sunburg car show

Sunburg’s population of 100 tripled in size Labor Day when a record 182 cars signed in for the sixth annual Sunburg Trolls Car Show at Willie Reigstad Field. Here, Math Breitbach of Sauk Centre polishes his 1932 Ford pick-up, painted a burnt tangerine. Last year’s show drew a then-record 152 entries. Monday’s total does not include the 24 cars displayed by the local car club and not eligible for awards. Admission was free for spectators.
