Arrests
SPICER - A 50-year-old man was arrested following a domestic assault report shortly before midnight Saturday. The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office responded around 11:50 p.m. to the 7300 block of 153rd Avenue Northeast in Spicer. A woman there told deputies that a man had hit her multiple times.
WILLMAR - After a domestic assault was reported around 4 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of Woodlawn Avenue in Lake Lillian, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office arrested a 52-year-old man. He is being held in the Kandiyohi County Jail on a misdemeanor domestic assault charge.
Thefts

NEW LONDON - A theft was reported around 12:10 a.m. Sunday from the 17200 block of Highway 23 Northeast in New London. A juvenile reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office that a wallet and backpack had been stolen from a van between 10 and 11:30 p.m. that night.
WILLMAR - A ladder hunting stand was reported stolen from the intersection of Long Lake Road and 78th Avenue Northeast in Willmar. A man reported the theft around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Underage drinking and driving
NEW LONDON - A caller reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office around 3 a.m. Sunday that a vehicle was driving all over the road near the intersection of Highway 23 and 199th Avenue Northeast in New London. A juvenile teenager was arrested and cited for underage drinking and driving and driving after suspension.
Crash on ice
WILLMAR - A crash was reported around 12:21 p.m. Wednesday at the 600 block of Lakeland Drive Northeast in Willmar. A vehicle had stopped at the rail crossing on Lakeland Drive, waiting for a train to pass. A second car attempted to stop, but slid on the ice, rear-ending the first vehicle. There were no injuries reported.
Drugs
WILLMAR - A juvenile was cited for a small amount of drugs and for drug paraphernalia after authorities were called at 8:51 p.m. Tuesday to A&W Restaurant in New London. The report says kids were smoking marijuana as a car went through the drive-thru.

Animal welfare
PENNOCK - A deputy was called to a residence on the 100 block of Third Street Southeast in Pennock when a caller reporter a dog being left outside for nearly 45 minutes at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday. The owner of the dog was warned for leaving the animal outside when it is -20 degrees and advised to keep an eye on the dog and not let him be outside for too long. The law enforcement report said the owner denied the dog had been left out for that long, though the dog was reported to have been shivering and had discharge frozen on his nose.
