No serious injuries in head-on crash near Milan
MILAN -- Four people escaped serious injury in a head-on crash at 6:08 p.m. Thursday on Minnesota Highway 7 east of Milan, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
A 2008 Ford Taurus driven by Koreen Brustuen, 74, of Appleton was southbound when it crossed over the center line and struck a northbound 1994 Ford Explorer driven by Randy Tiffany, 56, of Milan.
Brustuen suffered minor injuries and her passenger, Orville Brustuen, 75, of Appleton, reported no injuries.

Tiffany and his passenger, Kerry Hlebain, 23, of Sartell, suffered minor injuries, according to the accident report.
The drivers and passengers were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles were totaled by the collision.
The State Patrol was assisted by the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office at the scene.
Accident
WILLMAR -- No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:44 a.m. Friday on Litchfield Avenue near the intersection with Sixth Street Southwest.
A 1996 Dodge Caravan driven by Emiline Fatima Jason-Aqel was westbound on Litchfield Avenue when it slowed and came to a stop to turn left on to Sixth Street. A 1999 Chevrolet driven by Stephanie Theis, 19, of Redwood Falls, struck the rear of the vehicle, according to an accident report.
Thefts
WILLMAR -- Someone stole coins and damaged coin boxes on laundry machines Thursday in two adjoining apartment buildings on the 400 block of Lakeland Drive Southeast in Willmar.

WILLMAR -- A resident who opened a cable splitter box and stole cable TV service is facing possible charges and restitution for $170 in damage to the splitter and box. The theft was reported Friday morning at a residence on the 200 block of Havana Street.
NEW LONDON -- An ATV was stolen from a residence on the 19000 block of Northeast Highway 9, New London, its owner reported to law enforcement. The ATV was described as a bright yellow, 2004 Suzuki model.
Vandalism
NEW LONDON -- An 18-year-old male faces possible charges after the owner of a car reported the suspect kicked and caused a dent in the hood of the vehicle as he drove into the New London-Spicer High School parking lot on Thursday.
Fire call
WILLMAR -- Firefighters responded to a report of a gas tank on fire shortly before midnight Thursday at a residence on the 3600 block of 67th Avenue Northwest, Willmar.
