Missing Granite Falls teen located after being gone 16 hours
GRANITE FALLS -- The 17-year-old girl reported missing since around 8 p.m. Sunday from a rural Granite Falls home was located around 11 a.m. Monday.
According to Yellow Medicine County Sheriff Bill Flaten, Lily Jean Paulson was transported to the Granite Falls Hospital for observation and was reunited with her family. She has a medical issue that requires she take medication daily.
Assisting with the search for Paulson was the Clarkfield Fire Department and Ambulance Service, the Granite Falls Fire Department, Upper Sioux Community Police Department, the Granite Falls Police Department, the Canby Police Department, the Minnesota State Patrol Helicopter, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and the Codington County, S.D., Search and Rescue Team.

Theft
WILLMAR -- The theft of a wallet was reported around noon Monday by a person who reported the wallet had been taken Saturday evening at the Kandi Entertainment Center, 500 19th Ave. S.E.
WILLMAR -- The theft of tires was reported around 11:20 a.m. Monday along the 2500 block of U.S. Highway 12 East.
Property damage
WILLMAR -- Damage to a tire was reported around 6:30 a.m. Monday along the 900 block of Trott Avenue Southeast.

Kandiyohi County
- Sarah Faith Briggs, 29, of Willmar, made her first appearance Friday on felony charges of second-degree assault and terroristic threats for allegedly assaulting and threatening a man early Friday morning.

Unconditional bail was set at $75,000. Her next appearance is July 30.
Briggs also faces two misdemeanor charges of domestic assault.
According to the complaint, Willmar police officers were called to a residence in the southeast quadrant of the city just after midnight Friday on a domestic incident. A man reported Briggs was upset with him over a pornographic email he had received and that she had accused him of cheating on her. She flushed a ring he had given her down the toilet and he began putting her property outside the home. The man said that Briggs locked him out of the home and that he broke down the door to get back inside.
The man also reported that Briggs had pressed a 13-inch kitchen knife against him and threatened him with the knife before punching him in the face and wrestling on the floor with him.
Briggs told officers a similar account of the incident, except that she denied pulling out the knife.
