Criminal damage
PRINSBURG -- Windows were smashed and a radio was stolen from a 2000 Audi parked at Auto Collision and Colour in Prinsburg. The incident was reported Sunday to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
Thefts
WILLMAR -- Little Dukes told Willmar Police Sunday that a silver or tan Dodge or Chrysler van drove off without paying a $41.50 gas purchase.
A purse and other items were taken Saturday night from an unlocked car parked in an unlocked garage in the 700 block of Sixth Street Southwest. Taken was a black leather fanny pack containing a driver's license, credit cards, Social Security card and approximately $200 in cash.

Another car break-in was reported Saturday night in the 700 block of Fifth Street Southeast. The theft occurred between Thursday night and Saturday night. A tan leather bag, items for black-powder shooting, tools and $10 in change were taken,
Assault
WILLMAR -- A 26-year-old Willmar man told Willmar Police he was assaulted early Sunday morning by six individuals at a residence in the 500 block of Fourth Street Southeast. He called from the Super America station on South First Street and was taken by ambulance to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries, according to the initial report.
Loud party
KANDIYOHI -- An 18-year-old man from Kandiyohi and a 20-year-old woman from Granite Falls were citied for underage consumption by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office. The tickets were issued after the sheriff's office was called to investigate a report of a loud party Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of an apartment building in Kandiyohi.
Also, the Kandiyohi man was arrested on outstanding warrants from Lyon County and Redwood County.
Graffiti
WILLMAR -- Quick Signs of Willmar reported graffiti Saturday on the company propane tank, garbage receptacle, the building door and two windows on the boom truck. Willmar Police found "QTT,'' "Marco'' and unknown symbols written with non-permanent orange crayon or wax.

Fire burns rural Sauk Centre barn
SAUK CENTRE -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office is investigating an early Saturday morning fire that burned an unoccupied barn at the Roger Weber farm, located on County Road 185, approximately one mile west of County Road 126 in Melrose Township.
The sheriff's office was called at approximately 4:14 a.m. The barn did not contain any animals or equipment and was fully engulfed when authorities arrived.
The sheriff's department was assisted by the Melrose Fire Department, Sauk Centre Fire Department, Melrose Police Department and Sauk Centre Police Department.
Crash near Echo investigated
ECHO -- A one-vehicle crash in the Echo area is being investigated by the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office was called at approximately 2:21 a.m. Saturday and the vehicle was found in a drainage ditch about 1½ miles north of Echo on state Highway 67.
The sheriff's office said the driver was found later at an Echo residence. The name of the driver is being withheld during the investigation, the sheriff's office said.
