SPICER -- A 16-year-old driver escaped serious injury after she lost control of her 2001 Dodge Caravan and it went into a ditch, striking several mailboxes on its way.

The accident was reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department at 10:14 a.m. Sunday on the 7200 block of Long Lake Road.

OLIVIA -- A 29-year-old Olivia woman was transported to the Renville County Hospital in Olivia for bumps and bruises she suffered in a one-vehicle accident reported at 3:18 a.m. Sunday.

Jamie Welch was driving a 1995 Ford Explorer when she lost control of it on the gravel on 350th Street and went into a ditch and rolled, according to the Renville County Sheriff's Department. The accident site was just south of 780th Avenue, or about four miles south of Olivia.

Fish house recovered

NEW LONDON -- Two juvenile males, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody after they were spotted on Sunday pulling a fish house that had been reported stolen one day earlier.

The 6-foot-by-8-foot fish house with green metal siding was reported stolen from a farm site Saturday morning. A Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputy took the two suspects into custody after the fish house was spotted early Sunday afternoon on County Road 9 near County Road 33.

Burglary suspect caught

SPICER -- A 22-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly being observed burglarizing a garage on the 100 block of Lakeview Driver in Spicer.

The owner of the garage reported seeing a person in the garage at 1:25 a.m. Saturday. The suspect was seen leaving the garage and heading south, and Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department officers were provided a description of what he was wearing. He was arrested shortly after. The suspect faces possible charges of burglary, criminal damage to property, theft, and possession of stolen property.

Thefts

WILLMAR -- A patio table, four chairs and a wicker loveseat were reported stolen to the Willmar Police Department on Sunday morning from a residence on the 300 block of Eighth Street Southwest in Willmar.

SUNBURG -- Three catalytic converters were stolen from three different vehicles on a property on the 500 block of Minnesota Highway 9 in Sunburg, according to a report made to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department.

Vehicles were damaged to gain entry and items stolen from them at Jorgenson Auto Sales and Repair on Central Avenue in Sunburg on Friday and Saturday nights. Three different vehicles were damaged and entered on Saturday night, while two were damaged on Friday. A stereo system was stolen from one of the vehicles.

SPICER -- A vehicle was damaged in a burglary discovered and reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department on Saturday morning on the 100 block of Lakeview Drive in Spicer.

WILLMAR -- A resident on the 600 block of 18th Street Southwest in Willmar reported to the Willmar Police Department a burglary and theft of tools that he discovered Saturday morning.

Vandalism

WILLMAR -- The owner of a Ford Windstar van reported to the Willmar Police Department that her windshield had been shattered while it was parked Saturday night on the 600 block of 13th Street Southwest in Willmar.

Fight

WILLMAR -- A juvenile female will be charged for an assault reported at 9:17 p.m. Friday at the Kandi Mall in Willmar. Willmar police officers responded to the report of two females, ages 14 and 15, involved in a fight.
