* A Willmar man was arraigned Monday on charges he sold methamphetamine and cocaine to someone working for the CEE-VI Drug Task Force.

According to the criminal complaint, Luke Steven Hansen, 30, sold cocaine and methamphetamine on three different occasions to someone working as an informant for CEE-VI.

On Sept. 29, he allegedly sold 8.1 grams of cocaine to the informant. On Oct. 13, he sold the informant 7.4 grams of methamphetamine. On Nov. 9, he sold the informant 7.6 grams of methamphetamine.

All buys were set up by the informant through the CEE-VI Drug Task Force and occurred under the surveillance of the task force, according to the criminal complaint.

Hansen faces one count of first-degree controlled substance crime and one count of second-degree controlled substance crime.

Monday, his unconditional bail was set at $60,000 and his conditional bail was set at $45,000 bond and $5,000 cash.

His next court date is set for Dec. 19.

Accidents

CLARKFIELD -- One man was injured Sunday morning after his vehicle left the roadway and started on fire, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Carlos Manuel Mendoza, 26, of Clarkfield, was driving a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix on U.S. Highway 59, south of Clarkfield when he went off the road. His vehicle then started on fire.

Mendoza was treated and released for minor injuries at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital, according to the state patrol.

Mendoza was not wearing a seat belt.

OLIVIA -- A Worthington woman was injured Sunday night when her vehicle rolled over on U.S. Highway 71 five miles south of Olivia, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Beth Lorraine Sternke, 22, was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am when it rolled over. She was taken to the Renville County Hospital in Olivia where she was treated for back injuries, according to the State Patrol.

She was wearing a seat belt.

Theft

WILLMAR -- A purse was reported stolen Monday afternoon from a cart at K-Mart, 1605 First St. S.

Burglary

SPICER -- A large black refrigerator was reported stolen from a garage Sunday evening at the 8000 block of Northshore Drive.
