District Court, Kandiyohi County

A Willmar man was sentenced to 120 days in jail Thursday on charges he bought cocaine from an undercover officer.

According to the criminal complaint, Clint Alan Johnson, 29, was arrested Aug. 24 for buying cocaine from an undercover CEE-VI Drug Task Force agent.

An informant called the task force Aug. 21 to say that Johnson had called the informant and wanted cocaine.

The informant set up a buy between Johnson and the undercover agent at the Perkins Restaurant parking lot, the complaint says. Johnson was the manager at Perkins, the complaint says.

He pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree controlled substance crime.

He will also be fined $1,087 and will have to undergo a chemical dependency evaluation and treatment.
