Drivers refuse medical treatment after rear-end crash on Hwy. 71
SPICER -- Both drivers involved in a two-vehicle rear-end type crash along U.S. Highway 71 near County Road 10 around 8:30 a.m. Thursday refused medical treatment.
According to the State Patrol, a 1998 Volkswagen Passat driven by Aaron Weiberg, 25, of Willmar was struck from behind by a 2006 Sterling truck driven by Wade Sabot, 34, of Lakeland. Both vehicles were northbound on Highway 71 and the crash happened when the car slowed to make a turn and the truck struck the car.
