Fire call
KANDIYOHI -- Two occupants of a 25-foot camper trailer parked about 2½ miles north of Kandiyohi near County Road 8 escaped unharmed after the camper caught fire Friday morning, said Kandiyohi Fire Chief Ryan Gonnerman.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Gonnerman said. He did not have a dollar estimate of the loss. The Kandiyohi Fire Department was called at 6 a.m. and was on the scene for about 90 minutes. No one was hurt.
Accident
CANBY -- The Minnesota State Patrol said Michelle J. Teigland, 42, of Marietta received a non life-threatening injury in a collision Friday afternoon between the car she was driving and a semi truck west of Canby.

The State Patrol said Teigland lost control on state Highway 68, one-half mile east of the South Dakota state line, and was broadsided by a truck driven by Ray S. Hanson. 58, of Clark, S.D. Hanson was not hurt, the Patrol said.
The crash occurred at 4:11 p.m. The road condition was icy, the Patrol said.
Attempted break-in
WILLMAR -- Willmar police investigated an attempted break-in at the Elks Lodge, 426 Litchfield Ave. S.W. The incident occurred between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon. Police said the door frame, strike plate and key card access machine were damaged.
Theft
WILLMAR -- Two people are suspected of taking a number of items from an apartment at Willow Run Apartments, Willmar police said Friday. Taken were a Play Station 3, approximately 20 DVDs, 15 CDs, a mirror and $200 in cash.
