Fight

WILLMAR -- A 22-year-old man from Willmar was arrested early Saturday for disorderly conduct after police responded to a report of a fight in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn. The fight was reported at 1:08 a.m.

WILLMAR -- Police broke up a fight that reportedly involved a dozen people and confiscated a 16-gallon keg of beer and drug paraphernalia. The incident was reported at 12:34 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Northwest Gorton Avenue.

Vandalism

WILLMAR -- The Willmar Police Department received a report at 5:37 p.m. Friday that a fire cracker had been put in a mailbox in the 1300 block of Horseshoe Drive. The mail box and mail inside it were damaged.

WILLMAR -- A Willmar woman reported that a television had been thrown through the front window of her home by members of the Latin Kings gang. The incident was reported at 1:17 a.m. on Sunday. As of Sunday night, police had no suspects.

Arrests

WILLMAR -- A 29-year-old Willmar man was arrested Friday on charges of being a fugitive from justice, and possessing unspecified drugs and drug paraphernalia. He had warrants for his arrest from North Dakota. A 21-year-old woman from Lake Lillian was also arrested on out-standing warrants from Kandiyohi County. The two were arrested during a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Second Street Southeast.

SPICER -- A 20-year-old New London man was arrested early Saturday morning after he ran his friend's foot over with a vehicle. The driver was charged with driving while impaired, underage consumption and criminal vehicular injury. The victim, a 20-year-old Spicer man, was taken to Rice Memorial Hospital, where he was also cited for underage consumption. According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department, the victim was injured when he got out of the vehicle before it had come to a complete stop.

The incident happened at 3:40 a.m. on Saturday in the 200 block of Miller Street.

The driver was arrested later in New London.

Accident

EDEN VALLEY -- Jeremy John Nelson, 31, of Paynesville, was injured Friday when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a farm tractor. According to the Stearns County Sheriff's Department, Nelson was going west on County Road 34 when he collided with a westbound tractor that was turning onto a farm field. Nelson was transported by helicopter to the St. Cloud hospital.

PRINSBURG -- One individual was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Roads 1 and 3 near Prinsburg. A pickup that was pulling a trailer with a 1939 Dodge vehicle on it was struck by another vehicle. The accident was reported at 11:43 a.m. Saturday. No further information was available.

PENNOCK -- Emergency personnel responded to a report at 4:36 p.m. Saturday that a 36-year-old woman had been kicked in the face by a horse. The incident happened in the 9000 block of Northwest County Road 1.

OLIVIA -- Sandra G. Carlson, 62, of Olivia, was injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday on U.S. Highway 71, four miles north of Olivia. Carlson was the driver of a vehicle that collided with another vehicle in a side-swipe type accident. The name and hometown of the second driver wasn't available. The accident was reported at 6:20 a.m.

ATWATER -- At least two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Roads 23 and 2, south of Atwater near Lake Carrie. No further information was available.

Theft

WILLMAR -- A duffle bag containing video and electronic equipment valued at $1,500 was taken from a vehicle in the 3000 block of North Eagle Road. The incident was reported at 5:07 p.m. on Saturday.

WILLMAR -- A boy's bicycle was reported stolen at 8:03 p.m. Saturday from the 900 block of August Avenue Southeast.

NEW LONDON -- Golf clubs, iPods and cash were taken from several vehicles in the 13000 block of 13th Street Northwest, near Lake Florida. The incident was reported at 12:37 p.m. on Sunday.
