ST. CLOUD - A 20-year-old driver from Le Sueur was taken to St. Cloud Hospital Friday night after a one-vehicle crash on Stearns County Road 12 in Spring Hill Township.
The crash was reported at 10:20 p.m. Stearns County sheriff’s deputies and the St. Martin Fire and Rescue Squad arrived to find a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban in Getchell Creek, with severe damage to the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The driver was unconscious and had to be extricated from the vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said. He was taken to the Melrose Hospital by the Melrose Ambulance Service, then transferred to the St. Cloud Hospital by Life Link.
The crash is under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
WILLMAR - An altercation Friday night at the corner of Becker Avenue and Fourth Street Southwest ended with a citizen’s arrest of two suspects for disorderly conduct.
The incident was reported to Willmar police shortly before 9 p.m. Witnesses told police officers that a fight had broken out and the suspects then locked themselves inside a vehicle.
Citations were issued to two males, ages 18 and 24.
WILLMAR - The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an incident of credit card fraud reported Saturday. A Willmar resident’s credit card reportedly was used by someone else to incur a $12,000 bill for limousine services.
