Theft
WILLMAR - The theft of a chainsaw from a vehicle was reported around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The report was made at the Law Enforcement Center and the complainant said the theft happened in Willmar.
Arrest
WILLMAR - A juvenile was arrested on charges of second-degree assault, terroristic threats and domestic and fifth-degree assault around 6:40 p.m. Sunday along the 300 block of Sixth Street Southeast.

* Stanley Gutierrez, 23, of Willmar, pleaded guilty Monday to an amended gross misdemeanor charge of offering a forged check.
As part of a plea agreement, the charge was reduced from felony level and another felony will be dismissed. He will be sentenced June 17.
The charges were filed after an investigation by Renville police and Willmar police that a Renville man had reported checks forged on his account had been cashed at two Willmar businesses. Gutierrez was identified as one of four people who had forged a total of $5,150 on checks between Oct. 5 and 13 at the two businesses.
