Accident

CLARA CITY -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated an accident around 11:25 a.m. Friday on State Highway 7. A state trooper was on a traffic stop -- causing the passing traffic to slow -- when a 1999 Mercury Sable driven by Mark Henkel, 46, of Maynard rear-ended a 1993 Dodge Dakota driven by Mark Suter, 54, of Montevideo.

Suter and Henkel's passenger, Jane Henkel, 45, of Maynard sustained minor injuries.

Theft

WILLMAR -- A theft was reported to the Willmar Police Department around noon Saturday along the 400 block of Augusta Avenue Southeast. A inflatable Santa Claus lawn ornament, valued at $70, was stolen.

WILLMAR -- A theft, along with damage to property, was reported to the Willmar Police Department around 8 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest. A coin box was removed and stolen from the Launderette Laundromat.

NEW LONDON -- A theft was reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office around 2:15 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of First Avenue. A coin machine was taken from a laundromat.

ATWATER -- A theft of money was reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office around 10:15 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Ninth Street North. A total of $750 was taken.

ATWATER -- A theft was reported to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office around 10:15 a.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Atlantic Avenue East. A CD case, checkbook and miscellaneous items were taken.

Property Damage

WILLMAR -- Property damage was reported to the Willmar Police Department around 9:45 a.m. Sunday at Play It Again Sports, 1305 First St. Exterior banner signs were cut and there was writing on the windows, adding the word "free" to all sale signs.

WILLMAR -- Property damage was reported to the Willmar Police Department around 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest at Tex-Mex Restaurant. A door was damaged in an attempted burglary.
