Property damage
WILLMAR - The front window was reportedly broken in a home in the 1100 block of Pleasant View Drive Southeast in Willmar. The damage was reported Thursday evening.
Theft
WILLMAR - A Honda 2000 portable generator was reported stolen from the 2100 block of 20th Avenue Southwest. The theft was reported late Friday morning.
WILLMAR - The possible theft of an orange Coach purse from a vehicle was reported late Friday morning in the 3300 block of Eagle Ridge Drive Northeast. The purse was missing from a vehicle parked in a garage attached to the home.
Bus complaint
WILLMAR - A 9-year-old student reported that he had been slapped on the back of the head by a bus driver Wednesday afternoon. Willmar Police Chief Jim Felt said the bus driver apparently had to stop the bus and walk to the back of the bus to deal with disorderly students. The student was standing up and alleges that he was slapped on the back of the h ead.
There were no injuries, Felt said, and investigation is continuing.
