Fatal crash
SPRING HILL -- An 18-year-old Melrose man died early Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on state Highway 4 near Spring Hill in Stearns County.
Christopher D. Welle, 18, of Melrose died when his car rolled over at about 5:15 a.m., according to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol. Welle was ejected from the vehicle and then trapped underneath it.
Assisting at the scene was the Melrose Police Department, the Paynesville Police Department and the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.

WILLMAR -- A resident in the 400 block of 30th Street Northwest in the Regency West mobile home park reported that cars at the home had been spray painted. The damage was reported to Willmar police shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday.
Theft
SUNBURG -- A Glenwood man reported that items worth approximately $1,000 had been stolen from his fish house on Golden Lake near Sunburg. The theft was reported late Saturday morning.
