Burglary
WILLMAR -- The front door of an unoccupied residence was broken and a 42-inch, flat-screen plasma television stolen. The incident was reported at 5 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of 18th Street Southwest.
Forgery
WILLMAR -- Police are investigating a $7,369 forged check written on a fake check. The incident was reported at 11 a.m. Friday at Bremer Bank. The check was written to a tax service and cashed Dec. 16 at a TCF National Bank at an unknown location.
Theft

WILLMAR -- The Double D Club reported the theft of $975 in cash at 9:27 a.m. Friday.
KANDIYOHI -- A Little Giant ladder was reported stolen from a residence in the 1800 block of 60th Street Northeast. The theft happened sometime between October and December.
WILLMAR -- A handgun and ammunition were reported stolen Friday afternoon from a residence in the 700 block of Olena Avenue Southeast. The 9mm black Glock 17 handgun and two clips are valued at $500. A box of Lugar 9mm ammunition, valued at $20, was also stolen.
The theft occurred sometime in the past two weeks.
Free garbage
WILLMAR -- A business in the 300 block of Litchfield Avenue Southwest told police Friday that people had been using the company's trash container for their personal trash. Besides bags of garbage, a love seat and a microwave had been placed by the trash container. Police found mail in the garbage bags that could identify the responsible individual.
Arrest
LITCHFIELD -- A 29-year-old Litchfield man was arrested Thursday morning for domestic assault and disorderly conduct that occurred at a residence on South Swift Avenue. He is being held in the Meeker County Jail pending an appearance in court.
