A New London woman was arraigned Tuesday on charges she stole money from J.C. Penneys in Willmar while she was an employee there.
According to the criminal complaint, Nicole Carlee Doesken, 20, stole $1,060 from J.C. Penney's while working there from June 19 to July 26.
When she was interviewed by her employer on Aug. 1, she admitted to stealing the money, the complaint says. On the day of the interview, she'd stolen $170 from the till, she admitted.
She was charged with one count of theft.

Tuesday, her unconditional bail was set at $10,000 and her conditional bail was set at $1,000.
Her next court date is set for Jan. 17.
Accidents
COSMOS -- A Willmar man was injured early Monday morning in a one-vehicle rollover accident in Cosmos.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Department, Nur Abdi, 26, of Willmar was driving a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix on state Highway 7 when he hit an ice patch, lost control of his vehicle and rolled over.
He and a passenger were taken to the Hutchinson Hospital where they were treated for their injuries, the Sheriff's Department said.
ATWATER -- An Atwater man was injured Saturday morning when his snowmobile struck a culvert in a ditch and he was thrown off.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Department, Nathan Allan Remmel, 31, of Atwater, was traveling east in the south ditch of U.S. Highway 12, near 515th Avenue, when he struck a culvert.

He was ejected from the snowmobile and was transported to the Meeker County Memorial Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
Vandalism
WILLMAR -- A window was reported broken out of a vehicle Tuesday morning at the 300 block of Seventh Street Northwest.
Theft
WILLMAR -- A vehicle was reported broken into Tuesday morning at the 300 block of Seventh Street Northwest and a carton of cigarettes was reported stolen from the vehicle.
WILLMAR -- A CD player was reported stolen from a vehicle Monday evening at the 1000 block of Elizabeth Avenue Southeast.
