Three hurt in accident
WILLMAR -- Three people were treated at Rice Memorial Hospital on Tuesday for injuries they suffered in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 12 and the intersection of 45th Street Southeast, Willmar. It was reported at 12:47 p.m. on Tuesday.
None of the injuries were considered life threatening, the Minnesota State Patrol in St. Cloud reported. A 1994 Cadillac driven by Rodney Rohr, 82, of Kerkhoven, and a 1991 Buick, driven by Amy Carlson, 24, of Raymond, collided.
Rohr suffered minor injuries. Carlson and a passenger, Anastasia Burks, 4, were also treated for minor injures. Another passenger in her vehicle, Justina Somerville, 2, had no apparent injuries, the Patrol reported.
The accident reported indicated that both vehicles were westbound on Highway 12. The Buick stopped to make a turn, and the Cadillac rear-ended it.

Transient walks into home
DASSEL -- A man described as a homeless transient was arrested and remains in custody after allegedly walking into a woman's residence on Minnesota Highway 15, Dassel, at 9 p.m. Monday.
The Meeker County Sheriff's Department reported that Douglas Carl Wilde, 45, was arrested. The Sheriff's office said that Wilde is a homeless transient who was traveling by foot from Hutchinson to St. Cloud.
A woman called 911 Monday evening stating that a man had walked into her residence. She yelled at him to leave and he fled on foot to the highway.
The suspect was found at the intersection of Highway 15 and 180th Street, Dassel. He was charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. He is in custody at the Meeker County Detention Center.
The Dassel Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene, the sheriff's office reported.
Elderly woman living in vehicle
WILLMAR -- A 70-year-old woman who has reportedly been living in a car was evaluated at Rice Memorial Hopsital Tuesday and released to the care of an adult male.
