Accidents
WILLMAR -- Two drivers were injured in an early-morning crash Friday at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and Gorton Avenue.
Tracy L. Kuemper, 28, of Willmar and Mayra Zayas Gonzalez, 43, of Willmar, were taken to Rice Memorial Hospital for treatment after their vehicles collided shortly before 5 a.m.
Willmar Police said Gonzalez faces a citation for no Minnesota driver's license and failing to stop at the stop sign.
Willmar Police, the Willmar Ambulance Service, Willmar Fire Department, Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Department and Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad all were at the scene. Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad also was notified, so that the railroad track just south of the crash site could be kept open.

Vandalism
WILLMAR -- Graffiti was found spray-painted Friday morning on the southeast end of the First Street bridge. Nearby, a door at Ecowater also had been spray-painted.
The incident was reported to Willmar Police.
